CheckVIN is now available in eleven languages: English, Romanian, Bulgarian, German, Polish, Hungarian, Czech, Croatian and, since October 2026, French, Spanish and Italian. The site, the checkout and the report speak the same language, and buyers in Canada and Australia now see and pay prices in their own dollars.

Why does this matter when buying a used BMW?
Because the car is usually not where you are. A Romanian buyer imports from Germany. A Polish buyer flies to Italy. A Croatian buyer looks at a Spanish import. The records exist in every one of those cases, but until now the person paying could not always read them.
Two things change when every step is in your language. You can read the full history in the language you think in, which is where mistakes get avoided. And you can order it in the seller's language, which makes for a short conversation with a dealer who suddenly knows you can see what he sees.
Does the language change what is in the report?
No. The content is identical in all eleven: service history, mileage overview, technical campaigns, warranty, factory equipment and retrofits, plus the Report Summary with its 0 to 100 condition score.
The score comes from fixed rules applied to the car's own records, so the same car always gets the same number. Only the words around it change.
What is new for France, Spain and Italy?
Each market now has its own site, written in the words local buyers actually use: numéro VIN in France, número de bastidor in Spain and numero di telaio in Italy. Visitors from France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Monaco land on the French site, Spain on the Spanish one, Italy and San Marino on the Italian one. Every page there links to the same report you can order from anywhere.
How do I switch?
The country selector in the header changes the site and remembers your choice. The report language is a separate choice at checkout. Prices follow the country you visit from and show in local currency where we support one, which now includes Canadian and Australian dollars: buyers in Canada and Australia see and pay the price in their own dollars.
One thing worth saying plainly: support is handled in English only. The site, the report and the checkout are localised, the inbox is not.
